Australian Baduk(Go, Weich) Congress January 2015

Post by Eskil »

To whom it may concern,

I am writing on behalf of the Australian Baduk(Go, Weich) Congress organizing committee to advise you that we are planning to hold the inaugural congress in January 2015.

The purpose of this letter is to invite expressions of interest as there are only a finite number of places available for international competitors. We ask you to please circulate this message as widely as possible amongst your membership to help us attract a strong and diverse competition.

There is an early bird rate for those who book and pay prior to November 26th 2014 and it would greatly facilitate organization if participants could make their bookings and payments as early as possible. Thank you for your consideration and assistance.

Full details of the congress are at our web site: ozbadukcongress.com

In brief, The Australian Baduk(Go, Weich) Congress will be held between January 25th and 31st 2015.

The congress will be held at Dunmore Lang College, Macquarie University, 130-134 Herring Road, North Ryde, SYDNEY, NSW. 2113

The tournament entry fee is AU$200($US180).

Limited accommodation is available at Dunmore Lang College with the costs as follows:

Single room, shared bathroom: A$85 per night.
Single room, en suite bathroom: A$98 per night.
Breakfast and lunch are included
Free tea, coffee, & soft drinks will be provided during the tournament

There are also hotels near the venue for those who prefer to make their own arrangements.

There is a substantial prize pool for the winners of different divisions and competitions to be held over the 6 days.

Apart from the Go, Sydney and Australia are two of the world’s best tourism destinations. January 26th is Australia Day and is celebrated with a massive fireworks display at Sydney Harbour. The Congress will provide guides to the celebrations for participants.

I hope that those of you who have always wanted to visit Australia but have never had a good enough excuse will take the opportunity to join us for what will be an outstanding event.

Registration should be made to: ozbadukcongress.com

If you have any questions: ozbaduk@gmail.com

Yours in Go,

Sang-Dae Hahn(韓相大)
