here's the very short breaking news. The basic contracts for the 2. World Mind Sports games have been signed by IMSA last Friday.
I hope you start with thinking about how to attend at the event as soon as possible. Travelling costs with many low-cost airlines going to the UK can't stop you...
The plan for the Go-competitions: At least all what we had in Beijing (team men/women - single men/women - pair - amateur-only). Maybe we'll add some youth-competition(s).
It might be six mind sports, the five from Beijing and Poker. IMSA is preparing a provisional membership for Poker.
No question, we'll need any help for this competition. Although EGF is not the organisation in charge we are automatically involved.
More news might come up in the near future. But first of all: It's a great day for European Go ! Cheers !!!
